District Update | Kimberly
Welcome to a very snowy start to 2017! I want to thank Mr. Ted Wasko and his maintenance crew for their long days and late nights removing snow and ice. I am also grateful for our bus drivers who transported our students safely to and from school, games and activities. School was in session every possible day thanks to their efforts.
As time nears to begin construction on our new elementary school, we are scheduling a community informational meeting on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. to be held in the rotunda of the round building. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
I would like to recruit volunteers for the New Elementary Transition Committee. This committee will make a recommendation to the board on such things as school boundaries, a name for the new elementary school and a transition plan while we refurbish the current primary building. We have a lot of decisions to make in the near future and we could use your help. If you would be interested please submit a letter of interest to me at the school district office.
EXCITING NEWS! No more lost lunch money! Welcome to online lunch payments…….. You can now pay your child's lunch account online utilizing either a checking account or debit/credit card. From our website-www.kimberly.edu- go to parents/lunch payments. There will be a place to register and if you do not know your student’s number, please log on to your parent portal account through power school and click on "Balance" from the left side menu to get the number. (The number is located next to their name when this page comes up.) Any Questions? Please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am looking forward to the coming months working with our amazing staff, enjoying our awesome students, and collaborating with Kimberly patrons.
