Future Farmers of America Halloween Carnival 2017 | Kimberly
Only a few months into the school year and the Future Farmers of America organization has already created and held several activities. Starting in September, and still going, this group has sent several people off to Indiana, held dinners, hosted a Halloween carnival, fruit sales, and many more events.
FFA’s main purpose is to focus on "premiere leadership, personal growth, and career success” according to Katlyn Scarrow, the organization reporter. The organization is led by Mr. Maxwell, Miss. Hendren, Mr. Porath and the officers (president, Janessa Kluth, vice president, McKayla Funk, secretary, Addy Larson, treasurer, Tell Williams, sentinel, Kyle Russel, reporter, Katlyn Scarrow)
Recently the Future Farmers of America officer team had the grand opportunity to go to Indiana for the FFA National Convention and Expo where they attended workshops and sessions about how to further help the chapter, and how to make it the best that it can be. Future Farmers of America school events, like the Halloween carnival fundraiser, helped support the chapter with the money raised, but events like fruit sales money will go to adopting a family for the holidays!
