Cross Country

Cross country is more than just running, Tyler Moerer, a runner since his freshman year, states that he does cross country because it provides for a chance to “become better and set goals.” Other students are also setting goals and making achievements on the cross country team, such as Bradley Beaver and Lindsay Higbee who won the award of most improved, Brinley Humphreys and Kirby Heider, winners of MVP's, and Kirby Heider and Andy Tolman who broke school record with the time 16:53!

Coached by Mr. Darrington, the KHS cross country team had the chance to attend state at Eagle Island State Park, in Eagle, Idaho this past October. Girls’ team placed 2nd, and boys’ team placed 6th out of ten other competitive teams.
