- Mr. Champlin

KHS 2010 graduate Mr. Champlin has come back to Kimberly to teach Health and advise the student council. He previously attended Idaho State University and Flagship University, where he studied Physical Education and Health Education for 5 years. He teaches because he has had great teaching examples in the past, including his own teachers and his mom, who teaches fourth grade. When asked what his hopes and dreams for teaching are, Mr. Champlin said he wants to “teach skills and knowledge that will help students achieve their goals.”

- Mr. Garrigues

Mr. Garrigues has always had a passion for music. His family loves to sing together, and he participated in musical activities throughout middle school, high school, and college. He has been in honor bands and choirs, plays the trumpet and the euphonium, and was even part of a barber shop quartet. Mr. Garrigues taught middle school and high school bands and choirs at New Plymouth, and has been teaching for about four years. He is excited to be teaching here at Kimberly.

- Mrs. Beard

Also a Kimberly High School graduate, Mrs. Beard came to work here because Kimberly is her home. She has had many experiences that have prepared her for the amazing work she does, such as managing a family business and earning a business degree at Northwest Nazarene University. In addition to being the mother of three kids, Mrs. Beard enjoys her job as a secretary here at Kimberly High School. She expressed, “I am proud and excited to be part of our Bulldog staff and family. I enjoy working with the staff, students, and their families!”

Others new to KHS in 2017-18 include Norma Kunau (English 9), Debra Mathews (English 11), and Brittanie Toone (PE/Health).
