Welcome for First Grade!
My name is Patty Olivarez and I am a first grade teacher at Kimberly Elementary School. This is my third year teaching at KES but it is 13th year of teaching in the primary grades ! I have taught third grade, first grade, kindergarten half day, kindergarten full day and I was also a teacher in a Spanish Dual Immersion classroom. I truly love my job and am thankful you share your kiddos with me everyday.
I'm Idahoan, through and through! Born in Twin Falls, grew up just 10 miles down the road in Eden, lived in Lewiston while I was attending school, was in Pocatello for the last 10 years and I can now say "I'm back home in Southern Idaho!" I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Lewis-Clark State College in 2010 and then in 2017, I earned my Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Idaho State University.
I believe education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students, and enthusiastic parents. Lets work together to have a great school year.
