Hello Parents and Students of 2020-2021!
Welcome to Second grade! I am glad that I will have the chance to meet you and your child soon. Please be on the lookout for information about bringing school supplies. I plan on taking a family photo of your family, in room #13, at our Open House night.
I am looking forward to getting to know your child and take the time to see what their emotional and academic strengths are. I will be building on those strengths and analyzing what academic needs that your child has. I am excited to challenge your child academically and see them grow! In room 13, we celebrate our achievements and always encourage and support each other!
A bit about me! This will be my 23rd year teaching elementary kids. I have taught mostly first and second grade but one year, I did teach a 5th/6th grade split class. I have a Master’s degree in Literacy and Language and I enjoy teaching kids to become even better readers, learners and stewards of their community!
