Welcome to 4th Grade
My name is Craig Maki. I am excited to be teaching your child this school year. We have a lot of new and interesting things that we will be learning this school year. Fourth grade is a great time of learning for students. This is the time that students learn more advanced math skills such as fractions, multiplying and dividing larger numbers. They expand their reading skills and learn how to read to gather information. The also learn about Idaho history.
This is my 30th year working at the elementary level. I have taught second, third, and fourth grade.
My wife and I enjoy gardening during the summer and spending time with family. I also enjoy playing guitar in a local band called Idaho 75 along with other staff members from the Kimberly district. I often bring my guitar into the classroom to play for the students.
