After a rough 0-4 start to the season against some tough opponents, the Lady Dogs have certainly gone on a hot streak, standing at 12-6 and ranked 5th in 4A. The only two losses after the first four games have been against two top-ten 6A schools Eagle and Rocky Mountain. With the end of the season approaching faster than expected, the girls are seeking to win out and have a shot at the state championship.

Senior Hope Ward said, “Our season is going great, and we’re going to take districts for sure. I think we’ll be some of the hardest competition at state.”

There seems to be no doubt that the Bulldogs will keep their momentum rolling into the state tournament and will definitely be a team that needs to be watched out for.

The Bulldogs are looking to continue their recent supremacy over our conference, winning multiple of the past conference championships in dominant fashion. They currently sit undefeated in conference play and have only allowed conference opponents to win one set all year. However, after a third-place finish at state last season, the Bulldogs want it all this year.
