Stephanie Buckley
Stephanie Buckley is the assistant KHS cross country coach. She has had 8 years of teaching experience and has been part of coaching XC for 12 years. She’s helped the boys’ win the district championship 6 times, and girls’ teams win the district championship 5 times over 8 years. Both teams have also placed 3rd at state over the course of the years and the boys team placed first at state two seasons ago! In her spare time, Coach Buckley likes to go hiking and camping with her family and dog, go paddleboarding, read classic books, play pickleball, and watch sports.
Brett Darrington
Brett Darrington is the head cross country coach at Kimberly High School. He has been teaching at Kimberly High School for 18 years and has been the head cross country coach for 10 years. He’s been 10-time district coach of the year with many district championships. Girls have placed variously at state since 2016, with three 4th place finishes, one 3rd place finish and a 2nd place finish. In 2022, for the first time in Kimberly history, the boy's cross-country team won the state championship! Coach Darrington’s hobbies include fly fishing and running.
