Kimberly High School is seeking a Musical Theatre Production Assistant to support the theatre department and student performers.
Position Overview:
The Production Assistant works alongside the director(s) to help guide students in developing their talents and performing to their potential. Depending on skills, responsibilities may include:

  • Blocking scenes
  • Assisting with choreography
  • Running lines and working dialects
  • Vocal coaching
  • Organizing props and costumes
  • Designing and painting sets
  • In all capacities, the assistant should encourage students to grow, build confidence, and strive for excellence

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with director, producer, and designers to fulfill the vision of the production
  • Motivate students to perform to the best of their ability
  • Attend auditions and provide feedback to students
  • Assign and coach stage manager(s)
  • Provide written notes for blocking, choreography, and set design
  • Model professional behavior in rehearsals and performances
  • Assist with creating and maintaining a rehearsal schedule
  • Attend rehearsals and production meetings


Compensation:
Pay is determined by the 2025–2026 Extra Duty Salary Schedule
Placement is based on years of experience
