Kimberly Curriculum Information
Curriculum can be described as materials and resources that teachers use to support their instruction. This may include (but is not limited to) formal textbooks & programs, supplementary texts, digital tools, hands-on activities, problem-based projects, and inquiry units. Curriculum is chosen specifically to support the goals and standards of the district. For descriptions of our curriculum adoption process, please see School Board Policy 2120.
Determining Quality
With the implementation of the rigorous Idaho Core standards, there has been a special emphasis on researching quality curriculum. Kimberly School District has always sought to find the best curricular materials to provide the best possible education. Over the past four years, the district has specifically provided Professional Development in instructional design. Using Achieve's EQuIP Rubric criteria teachers are building a consistent approach to evaluating and implementing instructional materials and strategies
