Coach Welch has been teaching for 13 years and coaching track for 9 years and cross country for 4 years. He was the 5th district coach of the year in both Boys and Girls track in 2022. While he was the head coach the team which includes all boys and girls got 2nd place in state in 2022. In Coach Welch's spare time he likes to go camping, watch sports, and building projects with his kids.
