On Feb. 3, the Kimberly High School cheer team had a clean sweep of all events and won the overall district championship. The Bulldogs went against Buhl, Filer, and Gooding and got first in show routine, first in Pom, and first in the sideline performance. They had many perfect scores in each routine. This victory meant the KHS cheer squad will go to state on Feb. 24. Cheer has been working since July and has practiced 3-5 times a week for 3 hours. They have worked so hard and deserve to go to the state.
Lucy Williams, a junior on the cheer team, said, she felt that we did well at districts and all the hard work paid off.
Good luck to the Lady Dawgs at state in two weeks!
