ABOUT ME: Hello and welcome to my page.  My name is Jolene Nannini and I am in my third year as the Kimberly High School Counselor.  Prior to serving as the counselor I taught Physical Education, Health and Nutrition.

In the counseling department are myself, Mrs. Debbie Klug, Career and College Guidance, Ms. Jan Hall, Internships and Senior Projects, Mrs. Carla Sheldon, IDLA and Advanced Opportunities and Lucy Padilla, CSI Transition Coordinator.  We work closely together to ensure all of the student's needs are met.  We love the opportunity to work with each and every student.

Although I wear many hats, my favorite part of this job is that of a student advocate.  I love helping guide students toward successful completion of high school and equipping them to reach the heights they strive to achieve.

A little about me...I grew up in Western Washington State as a South Kitsap Wolf.  Most of my family attended South Kitsap, so our loyalty to the Wolves runs deep.  I am very proud of my time there as an athlete in Girls Basketball and Track and Field, where our girl's team was state champions...TWICE!  I also played cowgirl as a teen and rodeoed in college for Walla Walla Community College and the University of Nevada Las Vegas.  My favorite event was, and is, roping.

In 2000, we moved to Kimberly just because we liked it.  My husband grew up in Northern Nevada and Kimberly wasn't too far from there, plus he had some extended family in this area.  We absolutely LOVE this community and being BULLDOGS!  All of our children share in our pride in Kimberly schools and we can't imagine being anything but committed to the RED and BLACK!  GO DAWGS!
