Mr. Dong is entering his fourth year as the Athletic Director at Kimberly High School and his 18th year in education. He holds a bachelor’s degree in K–12 Physical Education from Boise State University and a master’s degree in Athletic Administration from Idaho State University.

He began his teaching and coaching career at Filer High School, where he spent 10 years building strong relationships and helping students grow both in and out of the classroom. He then served for four years at Pendleton High School as a Physical Education teacher and Head Basketball Coach, continuing to develop student-athletes with a focus on discipline, leadership, and teamwork.

Now at Kimberly, Mr. Dong leads with a passion for education-based athletics and a commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, and community pride. His hopes to strengthen programs and provide meaningful experiences for student-athletes across all sports.

Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jessica, and their four children: Addie (a sophomore), Aubrey (7th grade), Titus (5th grade), and Paxton (2nd grade). In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, lifting weights, and supporting his kids in their many activities.
