LANGUAGE ARTS:
We will be reading chapters 9-10 in The Lightning Thief and responding to literary analysis questions for those chapters as a class. We will also work on practicing writing 'claims' for our argumentative essays. Once students have completed their introductory paragraph practice packets, they will work to complete their own introductory paragraphs in their essay packets. Lastly, students will take a vocabulary quiz for weeks 15-16 terms.

MATH:
This week we will take our Chapter 6 test on Thursday and Friday. Students can use the review activity on Canvas to help them prepare. Missing work can still be turned in. I am available most days after school if students need help.

PACK:
This week in PACK we are conducting our Demonstration Speeches in class. Today was day 1 and I got a haircut from class 1B and learned how to hold a tarantula in 2B. So far the presentations have been great and I look forward to the rest of the week. Thank you all for supporting your student and communicating with me so we could all enjoy what the kids are teaching each other and me.
