MATH:
This week we'll continue to work with dividing fractions. We'll interpret and solve real-world problems involving fractions and we'll do some practice ISAT problems. Students can still retake our last tests to improve their grades. I'm available after school on Monday – Thursday.

PACK:
Last week we wrapped up our Budget Presentations. It was great getting to see the students try to understand how a budget worked and seeing what they liked and what they did not in terms of houses, cars, and food. It was also interesting to see the kids that wanted to live very frugally for a variety of reasons and those who saw what big money can buy. This week we will be conducting an internet scavenger hunt. This is just to get the students use to looking up data, tracking information, and then finding answers they are looking for while consuming a lot of information. This week should be an easy week as they begin to think about next week, which will be their demonstration speeches. I will send more out next week about this, but it is a big presentation that also should be a lot of fun.
