6th Grade Weekly Update November 11th - November 15th

Grade Weekly Update! 

We are noticing that students aren’t bringing glue or pencils to school/classes! Please remind your student to bring essential items with them to class each and every day!

MATH: 

This week in math we'll work more with variables. We'll practice writing expressions to go with a word problem. Our chapter 4 test will be next week before we go on the long break for Thanksgiving.

PACK: 

We are wrapping up out Habit Building lesson where we are trying to learn how to create new habits and break any negative habits we are looking to change. We will also work on Situational Awareness. As we move into the holidays, I want students to learn to be aware of what is going on around them. As always please feel free to reach out with any concerns.

SCIENCE 
In Science, we are finishing our first unit with an open book test and moving onto our second unit starting with the periodic table. We will have a short project on the periodic table.

This week we are continuing to work on Geographical Terms! We will finish part two and move into part three this week!

STEM: 

This week in STEM we will focus on "Empathy-Driven Innovation: Solving Real-World Problems". Quiz retakes can be taken before or after school this week. Ask your student to share a phenomenon from our discussion. Go Bulldogs!
