Hello! Welcome to 7th grade English Language Arts. I am excited to be here and to share my love for reading and writing with students.
This is my 18th year of being a teacher and I still love it! In the past I've taught Spanish, Writing, Computers, and most recently, 4th grade. I am ready for the adventure of 7th!
I am married to Jake and have 4 children, all grown. Barak (U of I graduate) and his wife, Jessica (LCSC graduate), live in Hansen. Ellie and her husband, Dawson, live in Twin Falls. Ellie is an online student through Idaho State University attaining her teaching degree. The twins, Rachel (radiology and mammography) and Remiah (linguistics and anthropology), currently live in Boise and are attending Boise State University as well. As a University of Idaho Vandal that was a jagged pill to swallow. GO VANDALS! And maybe Broncos too.
My goal as a 7th grade teacher is turn your kiddo into a deep, logical thinker that gets outside of his/her box. Critical thinking skills are necessary for a successful life full of adventure and experience.
