September 27, 2022, twenty-five students from Kimberly High School attended the Hispanic Youth Leadership Summit at the College of Southern Idaho. At the summit students attended several workshops, and listened to an Asian firefighting, salsa dancing (soy sauce), criminal who was the motivational keynote speaker.
Kimberly students were awarded $133,500 in scholarships!

JJ Maxwell—$64,000 to the College of Idaho and $1500 Diversity scholarship to University of Idaho
Brenda Orozco—$1500 Diversity scholarship to the University of Idaho
Brianna Alvarado—$1500 Diversity scholarship to the University of Idaho
Estrella Hernandez—$64,000 to the College of Idaho
Adriana Ramirez—$1500 scholarship to Treasure Valley Community College
