Michael (Mike) was born in Reno Nevada and went to Reno High School. After high school, he went the University of Nevada Reno where he received his Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering. He worked in the Mining Field for 6 years and then went back to school at Montana Technical College and graduated with Master of Science in Environmental Engineering. He moved to Twin Falls in 1994 and worked for the City of Twin Falls and local consulting firms. Presently he works part time at CSI and consult as a civil engineer. He started coaching swimming in the early 2000’s for the marlins and High School swimming and was a USA Swim Turn and Stroke Judge. He coached until 2008 and returned coaching in 2018 when it became a sanctioned sport in high school. He has been an assistant coach for Kimberly High since then.
