Coach Welch has been teaching for 14 years and coaching track for 10 years and cross country for 5 years. He was the 5th district coach of the year in both Boys and Girls track in 2022 and 2024. While he was head coach of both the boys and girls team, they both got 2nd place in state in 2022 and 3rd place in 2024. In Coach Welch's spare time he likes to go camping, watch sports, and building projects with his kids.
