WHAT IS CLASSIFIED?

Classified staff refers to positions that do not require certification, licensure, or other credentials from the Department of Education. This group includes bus drivers, nutrition assistants, paraprofessionals (such as those in Title/Remediation, Special Education, and General Education), clerical staff, custodians, maintenance personnel, and similar roles.

IN-DISTRICT APPLICANTS:
In-district applicants are defined as "currently employed as an employee of the Kimberly School District. If you are an in-district applicant wishing to apply, you need only submit a letter of interest. 


OPEN CLASSIFIED POSITIONS 

  • Kimberly school district is looking for drivers to join the transportation department to help with bus routes and activity trips for the FY24 school year. 
    Route pay begins at $25.83 to $33.41 per route. Full time hourly driver pay is $17.22 to $22.27 per hour. 
    Salary placement is dependent on bus driving experience. 
    This position does require a CDL with school bus endorsement and a DOT Physical (paid for by the district). Onsite training is available!

  • Kimberly Elementary School is seeking a reliable and organized Office Support Assistant to join their team, two days per week, up to 3.5 hours per day (additional coverage may be required). This part-time position involves providing general office support to assist the building secretary in the front office. Responsibilities will vary and may include tasks such as answering phones, greeting visitors, filing, data entry, and other administrative duties as needed.
    Qualifications:
    Previous office experience is preferred; school experience is a plus
    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    Proficient with basic office equipment and software
    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    Friendly and professional demeanor

    Compensation:
    Pay is dependent on experience, with credit given for prior experience in education or the private sector.
    Additional Information:
    Part-time position; no benefits or paid leave
    Availability for occasional additional hours or coverage is required
