As graduation approaches, seniors are feeling the pressure of final deadlines. They are enduring the overwhelming emotional weight of closing out their high school journey. With just weeks left before they walk across the stage, the Kimberly High School class of 2025 is navigating a whirlwind of responsibilities, and a few well-earned celebrations.
One of the most anticipated events on the horizon is the senior Lagoon trip, scheduled for May 21. The annual tradition offers a much-needed break for students to relax, ride rollercoasters, and enjoy time with friends before the final push toward graduation.
Before they could start getting ready for the Lagoon trip, seniors had to focus on another big event: their senior presentations. These final projects, which happened on Friday, May 2, were a chance for students to look back on their high school years, share what they've learned, and talk about their goals for the future.
Many seniors said they were excited, but also running low on energy
“I am really excited to hangout with my friends and have one last hoorah before graduation,” said Anna Solomon.
With diplomas just around the corner, students are holding on and pushing through, counting down the days until their load is lightened
