Fresh Air/ Air Fresheners
Kimberly School District recognizes the necessity of providing tempered, fresh air in all district buildings and limiting the amount of air contaminants intentionally added into the air. Kimberly School District will provide tempered, fresh air in district buildings utilizing the standards set by the ANSI/ASHRAE. To the best of its ability the district will limit the use of chemical cleaners and air fresheners when possible.
Any form of air fresheners, including, but not limited to, Glade plug-in air fresheners, Scentsy candles, essential oil diffusers, scented wicks and decorative items, ozone generators, and other devices that emit natural or chemical air contaminants are not allowed in any Kimberly School District building. The only exception to this policy is air fresheners installed at the discretion of the district in appropriate places such as restrooms and dressing rooms.
